I pondered on the way to work

the British creative industry contributes almost double the amount of cash to the U.K economy than the financial industry,
but get’s hardly any media coverage in comparison.

Why are we afraid of art?
Shouldn’t the anarchic nature be celebrated?

Odd also – French primary schooling generally involves very little creative play – U.K primary schooling is deeply rooted within creative play. Yet French children grow up to understand the worth of creative pursuits where British children seem to, on majority, think it worthless.

We bought our son a roll of wall paper and spent Sunday sitting on it drawing animals. He went wild running up and down it stabbing it with crayons.
